Svetlana Medvedeva attended the opening of an exhibition of Pablo Picasso’s works at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.
The exhibition, Picasso. Moscow. Works from the Collection of the Musee National Picasso in Paris, is one of the main cultural events taking place as part of the Year of France in Russia. The exhibition presents 240 works, including 88 paintings, 39 original photographs, 12 illustrated books, as well as drawings, sculptures and ceramic works. The exhibition also includes paintings by Picasso from the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts’ collection.
The exhibition is taking place under the patronage of President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and President of France Nicolas Sarkozy.
