Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the guests, participants and organisers of the second International Pacific Theatre Festival held in Vladivostok.
The message reads, in part:
“Your creative project is a big and truly festive event in the cultural life of the Russian Far East and the entire country. It is gratifying that it is acquiring its own traditions and a devoted audience, attracting participants from a wider geographical area with each passing year. The programme of this festival is truly impressive, offering spectators the most varied genres and styles of stage production from Asian, European, African, and Latin American countries.
I am confident that all the performances will be a success, evoking genuine interest among art lovers and connoisseurs of art. The festival will certainly promote international humanitarian cooperation and strengthen person-to-person and human contacts.”
