Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 20th International Festival Moscow Meets Friends.
The message reads, in part:
“Your festival is rightfully considered among the most successful and popular projects in the development of children’s and teenagers’ creativity. Thanks to the enthusiasm and care of many different people and, above all, the inexhaustible energy of the outstanding Russian musician Vladimir Spivakov, it serves an important and noble goal: supporting gifted children across Russia. It is for them that a colourful and unforgettable festival is being organised in Moscow for the 20th time. Young participants will be able to demonstrate their talents and abilities at the city’s best concert and exhibition venues, receive lessons from famous musicians, performers, and representatives of fine, choreographic, and circus arts. And of course, the children will enjoy a rich cultural programme, and getting to know the history and landmarks of our capital city.
I am sure that this anniversary festival will be a success as always and leave everyone with warm and positive memories.”
