Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 8th Richter Meetings Big Literary and Music Festival that opened in Moscow.
The message reads, in part:
“Your major creative project was first held on the 100th anniversary of the birth of prominent Russian pianist, maestro Sviatoslav Richter. To this day, it unites numerous art enthusiasts and connoisseurs with its noble ideas. They will be presented with a rich, event-packed programme, including concerts and exhibitions, meetings with famous and emerging artists and performers, research conferences and other important events.
I am confident that the forum will attract public interest and facilitate the preservation and development of the great traditions of Russian culture, introducing our priceless historical and spiritual heritage to the younger generation.”
