In line with the 125^th birthday of Mikhail Sholokhov, marked in 2030, the Government has been instructed to form an organising committee to prepare and hold the celebrations, as well as to ensure that a plan for the main events is developed and approved.

The authorities of the Russian regions and local governments are recommended to take part in preparing and holding the festive events.
