The message reads, in part:

Shining on top international stages, you created a palette of vivid images that have become classics of contemporary art. The rewards for your talent and selfless work are considerable international acclaim and the love of the audience.
You are also known as a gifted choreographer who has done much for the development of our national ballet school and been awarded high state decorations. Today, your numerous students are sincerely proud of having had the good fortune of learning from you.“
Dmitry Medvedev signed an executive order awarding Maya Plisetskaya the Order for Services to the Fatherland, 4th degree.
