Dmitry Medvedev congratulated HRH Prince William of Wales on his wedding.
The message reads, in part:
“I congratulate you with all my heart on your wedding. This day is a great and wonderful event not just for you, but for the entire British people.
May peace, joy, and harmony always reign in your family!
My wife also sends her congratulations on this occasion.”
The President sent Prince William and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, a traditional Russian lacquer box decorated by the Fedoskino miniature paintings workshop, and depicting a winter landscape of nineteenth-century Moscow with a view of Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.
