Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on Residency Procedures for Citizens of the Russian Federation on the Territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Territory of the Russian Federation.
The Agreement was signed in Astana on June 7, 2012.
The Agreement was prepared with the aim of creating favourable conditions for the each state’s citizens while residing in the other state. It addresses the fundamental rights and liberties of an individual and a citizen.
The implementation of the Agreement will contribute to further development of bilateral relations between Russia and Kazakhstan.
