Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Creation of a Joint Regional Air Defence System of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Agreement was signed in Astana on January 30, 2013.
The Agreement lays the international legal foundation for the creation of a joint regional air defence system of Russia and Kazakhstan, which is part of the Commonwealth of Independent States’ joint air defence system.
