Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Accession of the Russian Federation to the UNIDROIT (International Institute for the Unification of Private Law) Convention on International Factoring.
Under the Federal Law, Russia becomes a party to the May 28, 1988 UNIDROIT Convention on International Factoring.
The Convention governs factoring contracts and assignments of receivables.
