Dmitry Medvedev sent his greetings to participants and guests of the 1st Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum.
The message reads, in part:
“Interregional ties between our countries are making a significant contribution to the traditionally friendly and good neighbourly Russian-Armenian relations. Industrial cooperation and trade, contacts in the fields of education, culture, sport and tourism play a major part in strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between the two states and promoting the rapprochement between our nations.
Today Russia and Armenia are facing largely common challenges, including the modernisation and further growth of national economies, improving the quality of life and more active promotion of integration processes within the CIS.
I am confident that the ideas and proposals generated in the course of the bilateral forum will help their effective resolution and further development of interregional cooperation, as well as contribute to promising business and social projects.”
