Law on Rights, Responsibilities and Powers of Russian Ambassadors and Permanent Envoys Abroad

Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to a Foreign Nation and Permanent Envoy (Representative or Permanent Observer) of the Russian Federation at an International Organisation (in a Foreign Nation).

The Federal Law determines the rights, main responsibilities and powers of people holding public offices as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to a Foreign Nation and Permanent Envoy (Representative or Permanent Observer) of the Russian Federation at an International Organisation (in a Foreign State).

The Federal Law also provides for the basic social guarantees enjoyed by ambassadors and representatives.
