Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the country’s national holiday, Independence Day.
In his message, the President of Russia highlighted Uzbekistan’s significant success in economic and social development, the high regard that the country enjoys on the global arena and its constructive role in regional and international affairs.
Vladimir Putin praised the dynamic and comprehensive development of relations between Russia and Uzbekistan, which are based on old traditions of friendship and mutual regard. The Russian leader expressed confidence that the strategic partnership and alliance will continue to strengthen for the benefit of the two countries, ensuring stability and security in Central Asia.
