Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at the initiative of the Armenian side.
The discussion focused on the sharp escalation of hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh area. The Russian side expressed grave concern over the resumption of large-scale hostilities. It was noted that it was important to make all necessary efforts now to thwart further escalation of the conflict, and most importantly – to halt military actions.
