Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
To follow up on the Russian-Belarusian talks held in Moscow on September 9, the presidents discussed several aspects of bilateral cooperation, including the results of the Zapad 2021 joint strategic exercises of the Russian and Belarusian armed forces. The developments in Afghanistan were also touched upon.
The parties agreed on further contacts.
