Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The conversation touched upon the bilateral cooperation agenda, specifically highlighting several mutually beneficial trade and economic projects.
The two leaders also exchanged views on a number of issues on the international agenda, taking into account Vladimir Putin's recent contacts with foreign leaders, including in Tehran.
The parties reaffirmed their intention to consistently strengthen Russian-Belarusian partnership and alliance.
It was agreed to maintain regular dialogue at the highest level.
