Vladimir Putin sent greetings to Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, on the national holiday, State Foundation Day.
The message reads, in part:
“Russian-Emirati relations are at a high level. This was fully confirmed by our talks in St Petersburg in October. It is important that, despite the difficult international situation, our countries continue to actively cooperate in policy, trade, investment, energy and other fields.
I am confident that our joint efforts will ensure the further promotion of the strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the UAE for the prosperity of our friendly nations and in the interests of ensuring stability and security in the Middle East and North Africa.”
