Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, at the initiative of South Ossetia.
Alan Gagloev expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Vladimir Putin on his convincing victory in the presidential election and wished him further productive work as the head of state for the benefit of all the people of Russia.
The two presidents reaffirmed their shared commitment to continuing their fruitful cooperation and interaction as per the Treaty on Alliance and Integration between Russia and South Ossetia of March 18, 2015.
