Dmitry Medvedev will take part in the Global Policy Forum The Modern State: Standards of Democracy and Criteria of Efficiency in Yaroslavl on September 9–10, 2010.
Among the participants in this year’s forum will be Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak, and a number of prominent international political and public figures including former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama. In total, around 450 Russian and foreign participants are expected, and up to 500 journalists. Mr Medvedev will hold meetings with Mr Lee and Mr Berlusconi on the sidelines of the event.
