During his trip to Krasnodar, Dmitry Medvedev visited the modernised Krasnodar Thermal Power Station. The President learned about the work of the combined cycle station and took part in the launch of a new power unit.
Krasnodar has the largest power station of Krasnodar Territory. The power station has electrical capacity of 744 MW and produces 5 billion kilowatt-hours annually, which satisfies about 40% of the region’s needs for electricity. The power station has been undergoing reconstruction since 2007. The project is being implemented by LUKOIL.
Dmitry Medvedev also signed the guest book.
