Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law on Gas Supply in the Russian Federation and Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law aims to improve government regulation of gas prices and establishes a single approach to regulating charges for connecting capital construction facilities to gas distribution networks.
The law also makes amendments establishing procedures for the state regulation of the organisation managing the unified national electrical grid, through the Russian Federation’s direct or indirect equity stake.
