The President will inspect the ongoing modernisation at the refinery, and take part in the launch of a new oil distillation unit.
Renovations at the plant will increase the volume of oil processed from 4.5 to 12 million tonnes per year, increase the refinery yield from 54% to 98.5%, and receive a Euro 5 environmental standard.
During his trip, Vladimir Putin will meet the President and CEO of Siemens Joe Kaeser. They will discuss the prospects of Siemens Group’s investment projects in Russia.
