The President signed the Federal Law On Ratifying the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Status of Crude Oil Line Fill in Tuymazy-Omsk-Novosibirsk-2 and Omsk-Pavlodar Main Oil Pipelines.
The Agreement was signed in Chelyabinsk on November 9, 2017.
The Agreement acknowledges the property rights of specific joint stock companies to crude oil line fill, the status of which had not been determined after the Soviet Union, and divides the above oil pipelines on a territorial basis.
In addition, the Agreement specifies oil swap mechanisms and resolves other issues related to the rights of its owners.
