Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Amending Article 3 of the Federal Law On Gas Exports.
The Federal Law was drafted in order to more efficiently develop projects to produce liquefied natural gas and is aimed at expanding the list of entities that are granted the exclusive right to export liquefied natural gas.
The Federal Law grants this right to legal entities implementing investment projects listed in the strategic planning documents for creating and operating liquefied natural gas production facilities, each with a capacity higher than 20 tonnes per hour.
