Dmitry Medvedev sent his greetings to participants of the Second International Youth Innovation Forum Interra 2010.
The message reads, in part:
“It is symbolic that this forum is taking place in Novosibirsk – a city that is rightfully considered a major centre of science and advanced technologies.
The forum’s theme – “Conditions for Innovative Breakthrough of the Regions” – is timely for both Russia and many other nations. And that is why this forum has brought together young inventors, representatives of academic and expert communities, and businesspeople from over 40 nations around the world.
I count on Interra-2010 to facilitate the exchange of successful experiences in building a knowledge economy, the development of international cooperation in the innovation sector, and most importantly, the implementation of concrete projects aimed at commercialising promising ideas and inventions, as well as the creation of modern goods and services.”
