Completing his trip to Ufa, Vladimir Putin met with Chairman of the Central Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Russia and Chief Mufti of Russia Talgat Tadzhuddin. In particular, the meeting participants discussed the development prospects of Islamic education.
The meeting was also attended by Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich and Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.
Before the meeting, the President visited one of Russia’s oldest mosques – the First Ufa Cathedral Mosque.
