Concluding his working trip to Nalchik, Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Head of Kabardino-Balkaria Kazbek Kokov to discuss the socioeconomic situation in the Republic.
According to Kazbek Kokov, the republic has had overall positive dynamics in terms of key performance indicators since early 2019.
The 2020 budget is over 43.9 billion, up 25 percent from 2018, per capita, which made it possible to improve preferential provision of medicines. Also, 330 families with three or more children received a one-time subsidy for improving their housing conditions.
With regard to national programmes, the head of the republic said projects like road repair, and street and courtyard improvements, were being done on schedule. National projects are good for the economy.
Issues that are critical to the republic were discussed as well. The President pointed out that much more needs to be done in the republic than has already been done.
