The President approved a list of instructions following a meeting on floods and wildfires in the Russian regions held on May 26, 2020.
The Government of the Russian Federation was instructed to consider allocating funds from the federal budget that are necessary for co-financing activities to restore roads in the Komi Republic affected by the 2020 spring flood and to overhaul residential buildings and socially significant facilities in the Trans-Baikal Territory hit by a gale on May 13, 2020.
The Emergencies Ministry, together with regional executive bodies, were instructed to monitor the response to the floods and wildfires that occurred in the Russian regions in 2020, including measures to provide timely assistance to affected citizens.
