On October 4, the President signed Executive Order on Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
In connection with the accession of the Donetsk People’s Republic to the Russian Federation and the establishment of a new constituent entity of the Russian Federation, as well as in accordance with Clause 4 of Article 8 of the Federal Constitutional Law No. 5-FKZ, On the Accession of the Donetsk People’s Republic to the Russian Federation and the Establishment of a New Constitutional Entity of the Russian Federation, the Donetsk People’s Republic, dated October 4, 2022, the President approved the appointment of Denis Pushilin to the post of Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic until an elected official assumes office.
