Instructions following a meeting with Government members

The President approved a list of instructions following the April 19 meeting with Government members.

The Government of the Russian Federation was given a number of instructions to support the financial and economic stability of the Federal Grid Company Rosseti in 2023–2027.

Instructions to the Government also concern the enhancement of reliability of energy supply to customers in the Republic of Daghestan, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Republic of Karelia, the Chechen Republic, the Arkhangelsk, Astrakhan, Novgorod, Pskov and Tver regions; the implementation of measures on the protection, conservation and replacement of forests (under the Forest Conservation federal project); reimbursement of costs incurred by the Russian Federation regions in connection with fighting wildfires in zones under their control in 2023.

In addition, instructions to the Government include increasing the throughput capacity of the Gukovo checkpoint on the administrative border between the Lugansk People’s Republic and the Rostov Region; support for agricultural producers of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Lugansk People’s Republic and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions; assistance for the efforts of the Kamchatka Territory government to mitigate the consequences of the Shiveluch volcano eruption.

A number of instructions were given to the Government of the Russian Federation jointly with the State Council Commission on Energy and the State Duma.

Given the increases in tourism and recreation travel, higher number of trips to summer cottages (dachas), horticultural and garden plots, senior officials in the regions of the Russian Federation were instructed to take under their personal control the implementation of preventive measures to monitor the observance of fire safety rules by tourists and residents and to organise control over fire-fighting response measures, including prompt extinguishing of landscape (wildland) fires.
