The President approved a list of instructions following his meeting with students – participants in the special military operation, held on January 26, 2024.
The instructions to the Government of the Russian Federation concern, in particular, amendments to legislation on taxes and levies to exempt persons who are taking (have taken) part in the special military operation and their families from individual property tax.
The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the Defence Ministry, Russian Highways state company and the Russian Popular Front, has been instructed to consider improving the mechanism for delivering humanitarian cargo to areas of the special military operation, including the Donetsk People's Republic, the Lugansk People's Republic, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the executive authorities of St Petersburg and with the participation of the Bonch-Bruevich St Petersburg State University of Telecommunications and the DOM.RF joint-stock company, has been instructed to ensure the construction of a sports complex at the university.
The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the Defenders of the Fatherland state fund for supporting participants in the special military operation, has been instructed to submit proposals for improving the mechanism for providing participants in the special military operation with modern technical means of rehabilitation, including prostheses.
Instructions to the Defence Ministry, together with the Interior Ministry, the Finance Ministry, the Federal Security Service and the National Guard of the Russian Federation, concern measures to improve the procedure for making insurance payments under compulsory public life and health insurance to persons eligible for such insurance.
The Russian Federation Defence Ministry, together with the Russian Popular Front, has been instructed to ensure that the humanitarian aid sent to the areas of the special military operation is targeted.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has been instructed to make public the results of the investigation into the circumstances and causes of the Il-76 military cargo plane crash in the Belgorod Region on January 24, 2024.
The executive bodies of the Russian Federation constituent entities were recommended to provide assistance to the Russian Popular Front in the implementation of the Everything for Victory! project.
