Instructions following the meeting on creation of federal all-season resorts

Vladimir Putin approved the list of instructions following the meeting on creation of federal all-season resorts on March 28.

The Russian Government has been instructed to approve the Five Seas and Lake Baikal federal project as part of the Tourism and Hospitality national project. It envisages creation of federal year-round resorts on the coasts of: the Sea of Azov (Primorsk resort in the Zaporozhye Region); Baltic Sea (White Dune in the Kaliningrad Region and St Petersburg Marina in St Petersburg); Caspian Sea (Caspian Coastal Cluster in the Republic of Daghestan); Black Sea (Novaya Anapa in the Krasnodar Territory and Golden Sands in the Republic of Crimea); Sea of ​​Japan (Primorye resort in the Primorye Territory); and Lake Baikal (Magic Baikal resort in the Republic of Buryatia and Irkutsk Region).

The Government has also been instructed to approve a federal project to produce Russian-made products for tourism industry, create a single digital platform for tourism, expand the preferential lending programme for investment projects required for the sustainable development of domestic and inbound tourism, build and develop tourism clusters, increase hotels capacity under this programme to at least 59,000 rooms, as well as increase the number of visitors to water parks, amusement parks and ski resorts created as part of large investment projects, up to at least 23 million people per year, establish a system of tourism clubs, and hold sports tourism competitions.

A number of instructions concern the improvement of transport infrastructure necessary for the development of tourism in these regions.

Specific instructions have also been issued to the Russian Government together with the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory, Republic of Buryatia, and Irkutsk Region.

The Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects (ASI) jointly with the Roscongress Foundation have been instructed to assist domestic brands manufacturing equipment and other tourist products.
