Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Additional Measures to Strengthen Payment Discipline in Making Settlements with the Russian Federation Pension Fund, the Russian Federation Social Insurance Fund and the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund.
In accordance with the Executive Order, the Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to submit to the State Duma by May 1, 2016 draft federal laws that stipulate giving the following functions to the relevant federal executive agencies:
– administration of insurance contributions payable to the Pension Fund, Social Insurance Fund and Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund;
– creation and keeping a unified federal information resource containing information on Russia’s population, including information about registration of acts of civil status.
The Government must also ensure development of draft regulatory acts necessary to implement the Executive Order.
