The President approved a list of instructions following a meeting with Government members held on September 11, 2017.
The Government of the Russian Federation was instructed to ensure an increase in the minimum wage to the subsistence level of the working-age population in two stages, from January 1, 2018 ‒ to 85 percent and from January 1, 2019 ‒ to 100 percent, and to submit a corresponding draft law to the State Duma together with the draft federal law On the 2018 Federal Budget and the 2019- 2020 Budget Plan.
The instructions to the Government also concern improving the functioning of the state information system of the housing and utilities sector.
