The President signed a Federal Law On Introducing Amendments to Article 311 of the Federal Law on Non-Profit Organisations.
The Federal Law is aimed at expanding information support measures that may be granted to socially oriented non-profit organisations by government bodies, public authorities in a federal territory and local self-government bodies.
Under the federal law, such measures include the provision of computing capacities for the functioning of the information systems of socially oriented non-profit organisations and assistance in rendering such services, as well as aid in creating official websites for such organisations on the internet and ensuring their operation through the Unified Portal of Public and Municipal Services (Functions) federal information system.
