On December 20, the President will chair a meeting of the State Council, focusing on support for families in the Russian Federation.
The meeting participants will review the results of the outgoing Year of the Family, discuss additional federal support measures needed to address the demographic situation in the country, examine regional initiatives and best practices, explore ways to build effective information strategies for promoting family values, including enhancing the prestige of having many children.
Reports will be delivered by Minister of Labour and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov, Novgorod Region Governor, Chair of the State Council Commission on Family Andrei Nikitin, and Head of the Russian Popular Front Executive Committee Mikhail Kuznetsov.
