The President inspected classrooms, stopped by Russian, IT and physical education classes, and spoke with teachers and students.
During his conversation with the teachers, Dmitry Medvedev asked, in particular, about teachers’ salaries, their working conditions and their opinion about the success of the National Final School Exam (EGE). The development of Russia’s educational system was also discussed.
School No. 55 has about one hundred students following the elementary and secondary general education curriculum. The school is also a social and cultural centre in Izmailovka: it has a kindergarten and a sports club, and hosts village celebrations and military-patriotic events.
