The President approved the list of instructions following his working trip to Novgorod Region on September 10, 2016.
The Russian Government was instructed to develop proposals regarding the use of traditional sailing vessels to catch aquatic biological resources on Lake Ilmen; increasing the number of persons carrying out federal oversight of fishery and the preservation of aquatic biological resources on Lake Ilmen; and providing the Novgorod branch of the Berg State Research Institute on Lake and River Fisheries with a vessel for research activities on Lake Ilmen.
The Government and the Novgorod Region executive authorities were instructed to carry out fishery reclamation in the floodplain of Lake Ilmen and the mouths of the Nisha, Lovat, Msta and Shelon rivers.
