Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On Creating the Russian Environmental Operator, a Public Law Company to Build a Comprehensive System for Management of Municipal Solid Waste.
The company is established to ensure compliance with the Russian legislation requirements to solid municipal waste management, to stimulate investment in this field and to implement the Environment National Project. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will act as the company’s founder.
