Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma draft federal law On Amendments to the Federal Law On Defence and Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The draft federal law amends the federal laws On Defence and On Mobilisation Training and Mobilisation in the Russian Federation, as well as the Land Code of the Russian Federation.
The amendments specifically concern developing the Russian Federation’s Defence Plan, which includes a series of interconnected documents on military planning.
In this regard, the amendments specify the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation’s powers relating to defence, as they pertain to the development and validation of the Russian Federation’s Defence Plan.
