Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On the State Defence Order.
The Federal Law was prepared in fulfilment of the presidential instructions issued following a meeting on the correspondence of the quality of weapons and military equipment to modern requirements in developing Russia’s Armed Forces and promoting military technical cooperation held on November 11, 2009.
The federal law establishes the legal framework for state regulation of relations as regards formation, placement and fulfilment of state defence order and determines the basic principles and procedures for state regulation of prices for goods, works and services related to state defence order.
