Vladimir Putin signed an order On Presenting a Letter of Commendation from the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces.
For merit in maintaining national security, the President ordered a Letter of Commendation from the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces to be presented to the Presidential Regiment of the Moscow Kremlin Commandant Service of the Russian Federation Federal Guard Service.
The Presidential Regiment is an elite military unit that ensures the security of the top officials and of the Kremlin’s valuable property.
On May 7, Presidential Regiment personnel mark the Regiment’s Day. On April 8, 2016, the regiment marked 80 years since its establishment.
