The President signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 34 of the Federal Law On Military Duty and Military Service.
The Federal Law cancels the upper age limit for citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens for signing their first military service contract.
At the same time, these Russian (foreign) citizens must fulfil the requirements established by Article 33 of the Federal Law On Military Duty and Military Service for Russian (foreign) citizens entering military service under a contract, and they must not be older than the upper age limit set for personnel of the corresponding service.
