Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On Awarding an Honourary Title to the 24th Separate Special Purpose Brigade.
For mass heroism and valour, fortitude and bravery displayed by the brigade’s service personnel in combat during operations to defend the Motherland and state interests under conditions of armed conflict, the President decided to confer the honourary Guards title on the 24th Separate Special Purpose Brigade and, from now on, to call it the Guards 24th Separate Special Purpose Brigade.
