Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Conferring the Honorary Name of Guards on the 28th Pontoon Bridge Brigade.
The President resolved to confer the honorary name Guards on the 28th Pontoon Bridge Brigade for mass heroism and bravery, fortitude and courage displayed by the brigade’s personnel during combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, and, from now on, it is to be referred to as the 28th Guards Pontoon Bridge Brigade.
