Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Amending Articles 3 and 16 of the Federal Law On Veterans.
The Federal Law amends the Federal Law On Veterans in order to give the status of combat veteran to persons deployed from February 24, 2022, to perform duties during the special military operation in Ukraine, the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic and who have completed the period of their deployment or have been seconded ahead of schedule for valid reasons.
