Vladimir Putin visited the Nakhimov Naval School branch in Kaliningrad.
The branch, established in 2020, is located on the territory of a former military settlement and consists of a newly constructed educational and administrative building, a medical centre, two dormitories, a canteen and an indoor sports complex. The school can accommodate 560 pupils.
The head of the St Petersburg Nakhimov school, Vice-Admiral of the Reserve Alexei Maksimchuk, told the President about the infrastructure of the branch and specific aspects of the training.
Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Northwestern Federal District Alexander Gutsan and Governor of the Kaliningrad Region Anton Alikhanov accompanied Vladimir Putin during his visit.
