Vladimir Putin met with Elena Karabet, the daughter of Olga Kachura, who died in Donbass. The President presented Yelena Karabet with the Hero of Russia Star, with which her mother had been decorated posthumously.

Vladimir Putin noted that Olga Kachura was a courageous person. Many people in the Donetsk Republic liked and respected her. The President stressed that it was especially important that, according to documents, there were no losses under her command in the corresponding unit.

The President asked Elena about her plans and the plans of her brother, Olga Kachura’s adopted son. Vladimir Putin learned that the boy was finishing school and choosing a military school to continue his education, while Elena would like to continue the work of her mother and protect her homeland. The President suggested discussing this in greater detail.
