Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding the Honorary Name Guards to the 71st Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade.
For mass heroism and valour, fortitude and courage displayed by the brigade’s personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary name Guards to the 71st Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade. From now on it shall be referred to as the 71st Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade.
