The President signed Executive Order On Awarding the Honorary Name Guards to the 346th Detached Special Operations Brigade.
For mass heroism and valour, fortitude and courage displayed by the brigade’s personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to confer the honorary name Guards on the 346th Detached Special Operations Brigade. From now on, it shall be referred to as the 346th Guards Detached Special Operations Brigade.
